Description:

Following the huge success of Handpresso Wild – the portable espresso machine for E.S.E pods, Handpresso introduces its second version, the Domepod to work with ground coffee.

The new Handpresso Domepod suit all tastes, you can choose between Arabica, Robusta, Fair trade. With the new Domepod possibilities are endless! You can choose the origin, the roasting and the grind of our favourite coffee blend.

Besides offering an espresso break in a friendly atmosphere, the Handpresso Wild domepod will also be appreciated by eco-friendly minds and thrifty persons. Emptying the coffee grounds is simple, just click on the dome and that’s all you need.

Enjoy your coffee experience, anywhere!

Thought long and hard about whether to by this or the Wild - but being an enthusiastic home roaster this won! Whilst I thought that the ESE pods would be much more convenient, if you buy the Domepod case, you can travel with three ready-prepared doses of your favourite coffee all ready to go - just as easy as using ESE pods!

Took me a few goes, as I expected would be the case, to get dosing and grind right, but it's now making espresso that I'm proud of.

My top tip: Use the base of the handle to tamp the grinds in the basket - fits well enough to do a good job.

I expected that this would be a good product, but I am also delighted by the way that Farfax answered my pre-purchase questions, and with the price and speed of delivery.

Just bought one of these for my dad who's only real vice is coffee. He absolutely loves it and it's the best gift I've ever found for him. He tried it immediately and it was very easy to use. Couldn't believe it was as good as it looked in the advert and I would recommend it without hesitation. He is so impressed he's going to try it on some Italian friends next week.

I'm on the road a lot and need a couple of shots of espresso throughout the day. The Handpresso is a great little device that is easy to use, makes good espresso and just keeps me going. I've also used it on a couple of hiking trips I made last month and it was a real boost on the legs. Definitely recommend the Handpresso along with the domepod case and a portafilter.

Stylish product that works well. The ability to use any brand of ground coffee with it is also an advantage. Only criticism is if one prefers `real` strong espresso (Ristretto) an additional brewing head has to be purchased for the product.

To whom it may concern, I just bought a Handpresso Domepod, carrying case (small one in black colour), domepod case and intense portafilter from your shop which delivered those items to me before X'mas. Then I brought those things back to Hong Kong and tested the Handpresso. However, there was a very serious leakage of water between the body of the Handpresso and portafilter. I had already followed all the instructions including tried another o-ring came with the Handpresso as well as those domeod case I bought, but in vain. I took a video and sent it to your shop's email for reference and help! Furthermore, I am not sure whether the situation of my Handpresso is normal that when I unboxed my Handpresso, the (1) 'Water Reservoir' and the (2) plastic part with 'Water level indicators' and a short transparent plastic tube were separated. Regards, Alex

On the subject of customer service, can you tell me how much it would cost to ship a Handpresso Domepod to Ireland? The company that I work for recently removed the regular coffee machines and replaced them with a pay-per-coffee machine that dispenses truly awful stuff. Someone in the office already has a Handpresso and a few others may be interested in getting their own. Thanks.

Hi David, Thanks for the note. The Handpresso Wild and Domepod are identical in dimension so all accessories work for both. Your case will be absolutely fine for the Domepod as will the Intense Portafilter. With the Domepod it is also useful to have the Handpresso Domepod Case which is meant to keep three pre-ground filter baskets ready for the journey: http://www.fairfaxcoffee.com/Items/Espresso-Coffee-Machines/Handpresso/Handpresso-Domepod-Case.aspx What specifically about the Outdoor Set were you interested in? It is certainly available, so check out this link: http://www.fairfaxcoffee.com/Items/Espresso-Coffee-Machines/Handpresso/Handpresso-Outdoor-Set.aspx Keep the posts coming! Best, Rob

Hi, is there a chance that the outdoor set option will be available for the Handpresso Domepod? Or, alternatively is there a possibility to buy the set without the Handresso machine and machine of choice be got separately? I am using a Domepod all the time and the coffee is fantastic, but looking for a way to bring coffee culture to outdoor workshops that I am running. Thanks, Holger

Hi James, Many thanks for your note. I spoke with our in-house Hanpresso expert and learned that each Handpresso will only operate with one system. The Handpresso Wild has been developed to work with E.S.E pods (easy serving pods) and the Handpresso Domepod works only with ground coffee. It seems logical to me as well to have one Handpresso and a conversion option as opposed to carrying around two Handpressos. But for the moment there is no alternative. Please let me know if I can assist with any other query. Best, Rob
